ISSEY MIYAKE

Japanese designer Issey Miyake once told British broadsheet The Guardian that he wanted his clothes “to be enjoyed, to be fun, to infiltrate popular culture in much the same way as blue jeans and T shirts have.” And more importantly that it’s suitable for women of all ages. An Issey Miyake number rarely dates, stubbornly refusing to be pigeon-holed into one specific season. Radical and challenging in concept, his designs are nonetheless completely wearable.
